Badge Earners!

Congrats goes to Shaun M., Maria D., and Kristen E. - the first recipients of the Demonstrate Understanding badge in the working memory unit (pictured to the left)!
Don’t know what badges are? Badges are given to educators based on a demonstrated skill. Badges represent a broader movement toward recognizing teachers for their mastery over a subject and away from recognizing teachers for sitting in session for an arbitrary number of hours. Learn more about badges here.
As a reminder, each unit has a stack of micro-credentials (AKA badges) for you to earn. You can earn the first one, Demonstrate Understanding, by submitting three short answers that show you know what the learning difference is, how it influences your learning, and how you can support students in your context.
Access the badge pages by clicking on the links below:
So far we have 30 people who have started progress on their first badges! Our goal is to award 50 badges by the end of the course. Extend your learning with this ground-breaking new way to experience professional learning.
We can’t wait to see your submissions!
